Mission

At Nubian Archery Club, we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone to explore and develop their archery skills. Our mission is to promote and foster the development of archery in our community. Come join us and experience the joy of archery.

Vision

Nubian Archery Club is a space for individuals to come and learn the art of archery in a safe and encouraging environment. Our vision is to foster a culture of respect, camaraderie, and growth. We offer classes at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and provide specialized instruction for those looking to deepen their practice.

COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE

Archery continues to be a popular sport in schools and recreational programs. Archery is an extremely safe sport that is appealing to all age groups and both genders. It’s easily learned and skill improvement is rapid with regular practice.

It’s not unusual for safety questions to be considered by schools, camps, clubs, and recreational programs considering the addition of an archery program. Safety means a special layout of the field and adherence to established shooting discipline.

The most important rule is that any person failing to abide by the safety rules endangers themselves and others and should be required to leave the archery range immediately.

Supervision and proper instruction are two of the most important safety precautions in archery. All archers on the range should be under the supervision of a certified archery instructor. Because archery is so popular among young people, instructors who will be regularly working with minors should apply for proof of a background check from their certifying organization, such as the National Field Archery Association (NFAA).
